Bachelor Werktuigbouwkunde is een van de meest uiteenlopende technische disciplines. Het houdt zich bezig met het ontwerp en de fabricage van alles, van kleine afzonderlijke onderdelen en apparaten zoals de inkjet spuitmond tot grote systemen zoals ruimtevaartuigen. De rol van een werktuigbouwkundig ingenieur is om ideeën van concept tot fysieke realiteit te brengen. Het vereist specialistische technische kennis in combinatie met creatief denken, probleemoplossend vermogen, teamwerk en analytische vaardigheden.
Cursusstructuur
Deze opleiding voorziet afgestudeerden van de specialistische kennis en praktische ervaring die nodig is om complete werktuigbouwkundige processen te beheren, van product-/projectontwerp tot productie en inbedrijfstelling. De cursus omvat uitgebreide praktische workshops en een uitdagend ontwikkelingsproject in jaar 3.
