This track is designed for anyone with a special interest in the psychology of organisations, labour and personnel. We teach you how to select the best people; and how individuals perform in.

How do organisations select the right person for the right job? How can jobs be designed in such a way that employees do their work with high engagement? Which strategies can individual employees use to optimise their own work experience in a proactive way? The main elements of this field include work engagement and organisational performance, team dynamics, diversity and leadership and the selection and socialisation of personnel. Furthermore, the role of emotions in modern organisations is examined. In addition, we look at new methods in personnel selection, for instance, webcam tests and computer games. The research topics that are part of the programme include Job Demand Resources theory, work engagement, job crafting, the work-family interface, group processes, and job performance. teams; and how you can foster work engagement in employees. De opleiding Psychologie bestaat uit een reeks modules of cursussen. Elke cursus behandelt één specifiek psychologisch thema. Alle activiteiten die je tijdens deze cursus onderneemt, zoals hoorcolleges, werkcolleges, practica en opdrachten, zijn gerelateerd aan dit thema. De masteropleiding bestaat uit drie cursussen waarin je de onderwerpen van de mastertrack Arbeids- en Organisatiepsychologie bestudeert, en één cursus Statistiek.
In het tweede semester, vanaf februari, voer je een empirisch onderzoek uit en schrijf je je masterscriptie. Daarnaast is het in sommige gevallen mogelijk om tijdens het semester van de masteropleiding een stage te lopen.

De specialisatie Positieve Organisatiepsychologie bereidt je voor op een functie in het bedrijfsleven, consultancy, opleiding of onderzoek.
De specialisatie Arbeids- en Organisatiepsychologie bereidt je voor op een functie in het bedrijfsleven, consultancy, opleiding of onderzoek. Als Master of Science in de organisatiepsychologie heb je veel mogelijkheden om een carrière op te bouwen. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld trainer, (loopbaan)coach, HR-adviseur, managementtrainee, selectieconsulent of sessor worden bij een werving- en selectiebureau. Wanneer je meer geïnteresseerd bent in onderzoek, kan promoveren ook een goede optie zijn.
