De bacheloropleiding acteren is ontworpen om studenten praktische ervaring en een stevige basis in podiumvaardigheden te geven. Het combineert cursussen in acteertechnieken, stem, beweging en theater.

SCAD acteerstudenten schitteren in sitcoms, films, toneelstukken en meeslepende ervaringen, met kansen om te werken in professionele producties via het SCAD Casting Office. Onder leiding van ervaren docenten komen studenten in contact met Hollywood-iconen tijdens de kenmerkende evenementen van SCAD en bereiden ze zich voor op succes in film, televisie en streaming.

De faculteit Theater en Dans omvat artiesten, ontwerpers en regisseurs met academische topreferenties en professionele ervaring. De afdeling is een geaccrediteerd institutioneel lid van de National Association of Schools of Theatre. Het belangrijkste element in het succes van de afdeling zijn de studenten.
